Welcome to Foodcore Nutrition Services Inc (formerly WASCA)

For over 18 months, we’ve been working on a pretty big project, and we are finally ready to share it with you.

Yep, you guessed it – we rebranded!

It was time to grow and evolve. To better represent who we are, the services we provide and the groups we work with.

The Western Australian School Canteen Association Inc. (WASCA) has been in operation for 30 years. Over that time food provision and nutrition knowledge has changed, grown and evolved. Our organisation has changed too, expanding to offer more services, in more settings and improved accessibility. Today, we advocate for healthy food environments in schools, community, sport, health services, workplaces and early years settings. It was time for our name and brand to grow with us and the people we serve.

What does this means for you our valued members, canteen staff, volunteers and parent bodies? In short, nothing. this website will remain for sometime until we transition over to a brand new one with all the old tools, resources and training on offer plus new and exciting ones.

We will continue to assist canteens and other food services to provide and promote nutritious foods and operate economically viable and professional businesses. We are committed to helping schools and community create healthy food environments and will continue to work in partnership with schools, community, government, food industry, workplaces and other non-government organisations.
